Tactical Air Control Squadron (TACRON) 21's mission is to establish Tactical Air Control Centers (TACC) and/or Tactical Air Direction Centers (TADC) to provide centralized control, coordination and integration of air operations in support of amphibious operations. TACRON 21 deploys in detachments with amphibious squadrons in support of the amphibious ready group / Marine expeditionary unit team.
