Rear Admiral Neil A. Koprowski

Rear Adm. Neil Koprowski is a native of Selden, New York. He is a 1995 graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography. He earned a Master of Science in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
A surface warfare officer, his sea duty assignments include USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53), USS Juneau (LPD 10), USS Dubuque (LPD 8), USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60), USS Anzio (CG 68) and Carrier Strike Group 10.
He commanded USS San Antonio (LPD 17) and USS Kearsarge (LHD 3).
Ashore, he served as the Branch Head for POM Integration (N801) in OPNAV N80 Programming Division; Branch Head for Fleet Readiness Integration in USFFC; Branch Financial Officer in OPNAV N96 Surface Warfare Division; Ship/Sub Analyst and Executive Assistant in OPNAV N80 Programming Division; U.S. Joint Forces Command Deployable Training Team (J7) earning the Joint Qualified Officer designation; Congressional Liaison in the Office of the Under Secretary of the Navy for Appropriations Matters (FMBE).
As a Flag Officer he served as the 39th Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea and Navy Region Korea.
On 14 Aug 2025, he assumed command of Expeditionary Strike Group Two.
