Command Master Chief (CMC) Bryan Davis is a native of La Habra, California, and enlisted in the Navy in September 2000. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command (RTC), Great Lakes, Illinois, he reported to Naval Service Training Command Meridian, MS for Yeoman 'A' School.
Upon graduation, he reported to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 94 in Lemoore, CA, deploying aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in and USS Nimitz (CVN 68). His subsequent fleet assignments were Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, Port Hueneme, CA, deploying three times to Iraq and Afghanistan; and VFA-22, Lemoore, deploying aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). His shore duty assignments include USS Constitution "Old Ironsides" in Charlestown, MA, and as a Recruit Division Commander and Fleet Quality Assurance Inspector at Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Il.
Davis' CMC tours include Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility Jacksonville, FL, Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 115, Atsugi, Japan/Point Mugu, CA, Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW) 2, Lemoore, CA, and USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), Norfolk, VA during the ship’s first INSURV, work-up cycle, and maiden deployment which earned the Battle “E” award.
He reported to Carrier Strike Group Two, Norfolk, VA in June 2024.
Davis is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 177, Gold) and CMC/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 150). He is qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, and a certified Master Training Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College of Missouri.
His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Army Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), and numerous unit and campaign awards.
