Commander Kevin Isaak is a native of Frederick, Maryland, and a graduate from the United States Naval Academy, majoring in Systems Engineering. He is a qualified Surface Warfare Officer.

CDR Isaak’s at-sea assignments include Deck Division Officer on USS GERMANTOWN (LSD 42); Reactor Propulsion division officer and the Assistant Reactor Electrical Assistant on USS BUSH (CVN 77), Navigator on USS BATAAN (LHD 5), Force Navigator PHIBRON 8, and the Reactor Training Assistant on USS EISENHOWER (CVN 69).

CDR Isaak’s shore assignments include Fleet Assessor for the U.S. Fleet Forces Command Inspector General and the Executive Officer and Junior Board Member of the Nuclear Propulsion Examining Board, Atlantic.

CDR Isaak holds a Masters of Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.  Personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, as well as various service and campaign awards.
