Master Chief Adam Singleton currently serves as Command Master Chief onboard Assault Craft Unit Four. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Master Chief Singleton graduated high school in June 1998. On 28 October 1998, he enlisted in the United States Navy and reported to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois.

Following completion of basic training he completed Apprentice Training school before reporting to his first ship, the USS GERMANTOWN (LSD 42) at Sasebo, Japan.

His subsequent sea duty assignments include: Pre-Commissioning Unit RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) as Security Forces Watch Supervisor; Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 2 as the Training Leading Chief Petty Officer; Coastal Riverine Squadron 4 as an Embarked Security Team Mission Commander; Coastal Riverine Squadron 2 as the Raven Program Manager and Department Leading

Chief Petty Officer; USS CARTER HALL (LSD 50) Command Master Chief. CMDCM Singleton has completed 4 major deployments to include the South Pacific, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Operation Allies Refuge. 

His shore duty assignments were Naval Support Activity Souda Bay, Greece where he served as Watch Commander and Anti-terrorism Tactical Watch Officer; Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal Eglin AFB, Florida as the Command Investigator; Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam as the Department Leading Chief Petty Officer for Security Forces; Honolulu Military Entrance and Processing Station (MEPS) as the Senior Enlisted Advisor; Assault Craft Unit Four Command Master Chief.

Along with multiple unit and campaign awards, Master Chief Singleton’s personal awards include; the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Commendation Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards). He is qualified as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist.

Command Master Chief Singleton is an honor graduate of the United States Senior Enlisted Academy Class 206 and a graduate of the Command Master Chief and Chief of the Boat Capstone Course. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Service – Military Leadership from Excelsior College.
